Presence activation
To activate presence analytics, it is necessary to do the following configurations:
1. Configure network policy
Once we have agreed to ExtremeCloud IQ, it is necessary as a first step to configure the network policy to configure WiFi configurations and to allow presence analytics activation.
We go to "Configure -> Network Policies", select the policy that contains the access points to activate
(if not have it, create it and configure the wireless network)
Once you have a wireless network configuration, you must go in the same 'Network Policy' to 'Addition Settings' and is required to be turned on 'Presence Analytics' and 'Location Server'.
- Presence Analytics:

- Location Server:

Once you have the 'Network Policy' complete, deploy the policy to all your AP's devices with 'Complete Configuration Update'

2. AP's into Map
Assign AP's to a map (all presence calculations are made based on a map to know which ap's are in the same location)

3. Configure each AP Interface
You must make sure that in each AP it has active in its internal configuration of 'Wireless Interfaces' the Presence Analytics, for that, you must go to 'Manage' -> 'Devices' and click in the devices, you have a Modal with the configuration AP and click to 'Configure' -> 'Interface Settings' -> 'Wireless Interfaces' -> 'Enable Presence Analytics'

After enabling the option, save interface settings and change all the AP's that don't have active that option
Once you have all devices changed, update the devices with 'Complete Configuration Update' as previously done.
4. Delivery to Flame platform
Now need activate Webhooks settings to send the data to Flame Analytics, for that you have to access to the Global settings section and go to the "API Data Management"

Then hit the '+' button to add a new configuration:

You must enter the 'Post URL', 'Access Token' and 'Message Type'.
For this information, please send an email to the following address: support@flameanalytics.com putting the following subject and body: “Aerohive presence settings [company name]”
In the mail body it will be necessary to put the mac's devices and which location they correspond.
Flame Analytics will reply to the email with the information needed to complete the configuration:
Post URL
Access Token
Message Type
Troubleshooting
1. The AP devices are not sending data to the server of Flame Analytics
Maybe the commands aren't properly applied to your devices.
It's recommend upgrading them to 6.5r12 or greater firmware and then applying the following supplemental CLI:
radio profile presencia_ng_ng0 presence enable radio profile presencia_ng_ng0 presence trap-interval 60 radio profile presencia_ng_ng0 presence aggr-interval 60 radio profile presencia_ng_ng0 presence aging-time 60 radio profile presencia_ng_na0 presence enable radio profile presencia_ng_na0 presence trap-interval 60 radio profile presencia_ng_na0 presence aggr-interval 60 radio profile presencia_ng_na0 presence aging-time 60
